The Eastman Bible study, led by Kate Torrey, has decided to try a new approach for outreach. They want to present the gospel in the language the campus speaks, and are beginning a monthly concert series the week before Valentine’s Day. Each concert will incorporate performers and speakers around one theme, tying the gospel into the presentation. The theme for the week before Valentine’s Day is: (get ready for this) Hate. Surprising? Yes! — and attention grabbing.

Thank you for your prayers! Because of performance space needs, we’ve had to schedule the concert for February 17. It will happen at 7PM, and a Christian faculty member from Eastman (Bonnie Boyd) will be doing the presentation “What does the Bible say about hate?” during the mid-point of the concert. We’d appreciate your prayers that night. Thanks!
